Anyone got any tips on getting 12V for my wired keypad? All the contacts on this gate control board seem to be 24V......

I Guess I could use a step down type transformer? Just not sure what to get in terms of watts and amps... The manual I found says the LEO B CBB puts out 24VDC at 1AMP.... Sounds pretty low so I probably couldn't run some LEDs off it as they require 75watts and 6 Amps.

I'd reccomend just using a standard dropdown transformer and spurring off the mains input. This will give you a definate 12V DC. Please see below link to our transformers:

Just in case I'm going crazy..... Can someone help me confirm that the accessory port is actual DC and not AC????
Yup turns out the gate does put out AC.... Have to get a 24VAC to 12VDC transformer from JayCar...

After getting a 24VAC to 12VDC convertor my keypad now works great!
I was looking for this answer about AC or DC as the manual isn't clear. Explains why I couldn't meter out a 24v DC supply.
