Has anyone installed or come across the new daitem / logisty wireless intercom systems, KIT SC902AU.

What exactly have they changed?
Is it just a re-design of the handset?
or have they changed the range reception of the units?

We install alot of the older kits and I am interested to know what they have done.

Really want to know if they have improved on the range as with some installs they are not practicable if you don't have a good line of sight with the transmitter unit white box and the handset in the house.

Such things as trees walls etc can dramatically reduce the range.

The Daitem website is useless with practically no new info.

The New Daitem Kits have redesigned the Handsets and now use a DECT system which runs on a different code hopping frequency. This now allows the single unit to control upto 4 call stations as standard and should be a clearer signal as the handsets need to logon to the digital system. We have a unit installed on our entrance gates and have found no difference to the previous kits ie it works exactly the same with our electric gates. As this is a new system we have not had any feedback on range available etc and any problems all i can say is it works the length of our building approx 50m.

Sorry i dont have any further tests but will post findings as and when we have more data available.

Hi Maurice
I have been wondering, what is the max distance for this new line of Daitem digital wireless system, as i have an gate automation upgrade and gate access, and would like to use this product, the only problem is the distance from gate to house is roughly 150 yrds
