Hi everybody!

I have a Proteco Aster (i think it's the 400 series) since 2009. A few days ago it was a blackout and after that my gate opener stopped working.
I looked into the control box and the screen shows the "St" error.
After I looked in the manual I checked if the bridge between "2" and "8" still there and yes, it stills there. I checked everything I could, also I connected directly a wire between "2" and "8" but it didn't work.
I need some help please. What can be the problem? I called at the support department here in Romania and the guy said me the only issue can be is that bridge, but actually it isn't.

Please help!
Manual says that between 2 and 8 you should have connected STOP button or just link if stop button is not in use. I would check if PCB track are fine. Maybe they are corroded and controller sees open circuit between terminals 2 and 8.
If connection is fine I would disconnect everything from the control panel, connect links where NC is required and see. If error will remain I would go with new control panel. They are not the most expensive ones ;-)
Thanks!

I will check the PCB tracks as soon as possible (actually it must be a 50cm coat of snow outside Tongue ).

I think it will be better if I disconnect the mainboard and check it with a tester.

Have a nice day!
