Hope someone can help.
My swing gates are set to close automatically after driving through them, however recently rather than the gate trying to close it has tried to reopen again i.e it repeats the opening (or it would were it not already open). It is a hydraulic system made by SEA
I have checked the obstruction sensor in case anything was causing this to engage but that is not the problem.
The indicator lights on the motherboard change sequence from the opening to the closing part of the cycle but the gate is still trying to move to open rather than close.
Any thoughts?
It sounds like you have a sticking relay. try tapping the relays on the board with the non metal end of your screwdriver. Should solve the problem temporarily but will need a new control board in the end.

Hope this helps

Thanks for help.... a quick tap on the relays got the gate to close, it then stayed in closing mode and wouldn't open. Further taps get it to move from one mode to the other but it won't switch on its own.

Realise this last post was a long time ago, but I have a similar problem. Genius gates, two pairs. One pair working fine, the other sometimes closes after a very long delay, sometimes normally. Is this anything to do with the circuit board in the sensor? No loose wires or anything, but the sensor light is invisible during the time it refuses to close.
The board has identity 30/06 Ftc 911 Rx if that means anything to anyone!
Any advice most welcome.
Thanks.
