at our social club we have a pair of gates that have operated with gibidi rams type km290 bac 433 rn. these have stopped working due to vandalism and need to be replaced. is there an alternative ram that we can use that we can fit our-selves. or is there some where or someone local to us that could provide us with assistance on this matter . we are situated in gillingham kent me72ej.

The GiBiDi rams are most likely to be Hydraulic system which if forced will damage the seals in the motor. If you replace the arms like for like you are likely to get the same problem if the gates are forced unless you fit an additional lock to the system.
