			<description><![CDATA[Hi Following a major storm of wind and rain which resulted in a power supply failure my Aster gates have failed to function and go from -- (stand by ) to error code n2 when activated. There was no evidence of water ingress into the control housing and although the earth trip triggered it has reset without problem.<br />
If I reset the parameters to P5 (only one motor) and then successively plug in motor 1 then motor 2,into motor 1 terminals 13,14,15 they both work normally suggesting the motors themselves are OK and the problem lies in the control panel. Both motor fuses are OK.<br />
<br />
Any advice welcome]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Hi there.<br />
I have a PROTECO Sliding gate system with this controller:<br />
<img src="http://s13.postimage.org/njfbloch3/proteco.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: proteco.jpg]" /><br />
<br />
This ~is the box/container of the system:<br />
<img src="http://www.proteco-uk.com/images/mover_images/mover.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: mover.jpg]" /><br />
<br />
The controller started malfunctioning (strange codes on hexadecimal screen) and the system did not work.<br />
<br />
I have been reading the forum and I have removed all cabling as stated here.<br />
<br />
Here goes my testings description:<br />
----------------------------------<br />
#TEST 1<br />
Setup: Power / Transformer / Motor / Links on [2-8][3-9][4-9]<br />
Symptoms: I hear a "tick tick" sound in randomly (10 sec interval)<br />
LCD Error: "F="<br />
<br />
If I give opening command[1-8] , nothing happens and the lcd error and sympons continue the same. If I try the remote, the led on the controller blinks,nothing happens and error/symptoms continue .<br />
<br />
<br />
----------------------------------<br />
#TEST 2<br />
Setup: Power / Transformer<br />
LCD Error: "M0"<br />
<br />
1. Connect motor.<br />
1.1 LCD Error: "U0"               *U = inverted U<br />
<br />
2. Then, Connect [2-8] *stop button bypass<br />
2.1  LCD Error: "M0"<br />
<br />
3. Then, Connect [3-9] *bypass cells<br />
3.1 LCD Error: "MC"<br />
3.2 Symptoms: I hear a "tick tick" sound in randomly (10 sec interval)<br />
<br />
4. Then, Connect [4-9] *bypass cells<br />
4.1 LCD Error: "F=" *as on #test1<br />
4.2 Symptoms: I hear a "tick tick" sound in randomly (10 sec interval)<br />
<br />
Again, If I give opening command[1-8] , nothing happens and the lcd error and sympons continue the same. If I try the remote, the led on the controller blinks,nothing happens and error/symptoms continue .<br />
<br />
<br />
*Note: Nothing else is connected. (no antena, no blinker, no sliding interruptor [5,6], no cell cabling)<br />
<br />
<br />
Please let me know what I could do to fix this problem. (I can send the board to UK for repair)<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hello <br />
<br />
Have just got my gates operating.<br />
<br />
System I have is a 2 wing gate, Liftmaster sub300M, CB11 controller, combined with a Daitem D5731GB Wireless system. System is operating with Remotes and wireless system.<br />
<br />
I have  few questions:<br />
<br />
After the gates are fully open or closed, the motors continue to hum for about 15 seconds. Is this a problem? if so what have I to do to rectify problem.<br />
<br />
The gates closes or opens even when I block the photocell beams, I am assuming this is not correct. The photocells I have fitted are the 771E/770E and are wired as per page GB-6 that is to terminal 23 and 24. Do I need to link out 21,22, and 23?<br />
<br />
Some times I need to leave the gates in an open position, can this be done automatically, if so how? I now turn off isolator!!!.<br />
<br />
Is there any other commissioning points need to be carried out?<br />
<br />
All comments and advice appreciated.<br />

Is this about "opening pressure"? Or do we need to fit an opening limit stop (like a large rock?)?<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hi,<br />
<br />
I have 2 lyn300k's(230v) controlled by a CB1 control panel. They have been out of action for a while as one of the arms broke. I have now replaced the arm but when i try and set the running time (open-closed potentiometer) the running time does not change and the gates are running passed the point which i need them to go.<br />
<br />
Could it be that i have wired the gates up wrong or has this potentiometer broken?<br />
<br />
If it has broken and i better off doing a straight replacement or upgrading (if so to which control box - ideally i don't want to have to add any more cables as i'll have to dig up my drive)!!<br />
<br />
Thanks for your help.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[Hi,<br />
I have recently moved into my new old home, loving the already fitted Easygates controlled by nice.<br />
I was given 4x remotes for the system and all work good, but the property was let out for a while to an unknow amount of people before I purchased it.<br />
I can see how easy it is to clone a new remote from a current one and wondered what was involved in actually changing the main signal as if the gates were new and remove the chance of someone out there being able to open my gates.<br />
Also the remotes have two buttons, the top one opens and closes, the bottom one seems to do nothing?<br />
My remote is the dark grey one with white buttons,<br />
Nice ON2 2-channel Remote control transmitter<br />
<br />
Thanks <br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hello there.<br />
I have a problem with my Proteco automation system.<br />
<br />
My panel of the Q60A displays: "--" (standby)<br />
<br />
When I try to open de gate (remote control button), the panel displays: "03", and nothing happens, and the error remains there till a reset is made.<br />
<br />
I have shorted 3-9 and 4-9 for bypassing cells.<br />
<br />
Please let me know what this error code "03" means.<br />
<br />
I've disconnected and reconnected most of the wires and still nothing.<br />
<br />
Thanks in advance.]]></description>
