Hi there guys,

I have a gate that is controlled by a BFT Icaro N F controller.

When the button is pressed on the wireless remote control, the gate moves out but then gets 3/4 of the way across the road and then slows down and then starts coming back.

I see the error on the LED screen saying "ER 38"

Anyone have a guide for programming this controller and a list of error codes?

Thanks for your help,

Dan
Hi Dan,

The error code ER38 refers to slowdown closing obstacle detection, hope this helps.

Tim
Thanks for your help Tim, I can see this in the manual now.

It says "Amperostop" so I presume that the controller is detecting the current going high and reversing.

Since there is nothing in the way I guess I may have a tight spot that I need to check out.

Do you know if there are any parameters to check for the motor current?
BFT Icaro N used impact reaction "D-track" when The weight of the gate is larger than the motor it will coming back, you have to change the motor higher.

ICARO NF used 230 V for slidng gate up to 1000kg or 2000kg. So your gate maybe too heavy.

If you live in VietNam can contact with my company to repair it. https://automaticdoor.vn/cong-tu-dong-bft/
